Will an Orbi AX4200 work to strength signal of MR5100 Hotspot?

We have a 2000 sq ft shop and because AT&T Broadband wireless is the only service available to us (without major construction to the building) we were set up with a Nighthawk Mobile Hotspot (MR5100) as our primary source of internet.

In the back end of the store, we get very poor signal strength.  We've recently installed some NEST security cameras in the store and there isn't enough strength to get them to link up to the hotspot as the Hotspot is positioned right under our point of sale computer in the front area.

I use the Orbi Mesh set up in my home and was wondering if it works the same with the Mobile Hotspot to extend the wi-fi range?  Thanks for any advice

  • Looks like the MR5100 has an ethernet port to connect devices to. You could attach an orbi setup to it and use the orbi in access point mode and just let the MR5100 handle routing.
