Wow has my RBR850 network gotten unstable!

Ever since I did a monthly power cycle of my router  (RBR850) and 2 RBS 850's, things have really gotten unstable. I would always power cycle every 4-6 weeks, not sure I will ever do that again. I did power down RBS 1, RBS 2, switch, RBR, modem, wait a minute, bring modem up, once up bring RBR up, once up turn on switch, turn on 1st RBS, when up turn on 2nd RBS. Two RBSs are Eth-connected for backhaul.

The network has been fine for days at a time, but for example Sunday morning we had no network - I had to power cycle the modem (may be unrelated). But today things are unstable:

So - the problems I see:

1) The one RBS has no one connecting to it.

2)  Apple iPhones and iPads aren't connecting to the WiFi.

3) On at least one iPhone, I have even "Forget" the network, and re-joined. I just get the spinning wheel, it never connects. Other devices that I did not 'forget" get the same spinning wheel when I turn off Wifi and turn it back on.

4) When I bring up the Router admin page, the front page only sees 1 Satellite, not 2. Yet, the "Attached devices" page shows both Satellite with Good backhaul status (see below)

What do you think I should do to get this stable again, try power cycling the whole network?

  • Just checked again, router admin page says this, which is probably why devices on upper floors won't connect to WiFi. Also, as a note when I power cycled the router and 1 RBS individually this morning, both came up fine (no color for RBR, RBS was blue).

What is the brand and model# of the switch in between the RBR and RBS?

What happens if you disconnect the switch and let the RBS wirelessly connect to the RBR?

went out for a meeting, came back, WiFi is down for everybody - laptops, devices, etc. Wow this is nasty. Haven't touched the network other than power cycles this morning - did one right before I left of everything in the proper sequence with waiting in between. The switch and router/modem appear fine, I can use the internet through 4th-connected laptops. The switch is a NETGEAR 48-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS348).

What do you recommend - factory rest the two RBSs one at a time (turn the other off)/

Or do you think I should try changing the backhaul password first? How would I safely do that?
