Yes I did the power cycling. Still shows as wired on the Orbi app and on the web interface. I haven't moved it somewhere else, not sure why that would make a difference but I'll try that

It's definitely a home wiring issue, when I connect my laptop to that ethernet run I'm also limited to 100mbps. I've already changed one switch from a 10/100 switch to a gigabit switch - that gave me a gigabit on my 3rd floor, but the 2nd floor is still 100mbps. I've got to either go switch searching somewhere I haven't already looked, or I'm stuck with the only option being to change the entire cable run.

What FW version is loaded on the 770 series?
You may need to do a full on factory reset and setup from scratch after swapping RBS around and status doesn't change.

If your cable run isn't working right then you may have faulty cabling or old cabling that isn't good in supporting 1000Mbps or higher. CAT6A STP is recommended for ethernet speeds over 1Gb which all BE series Orbi support.
