End of service replacement

Hi -- I received a notice that my current Orbi AC3000 system is no longer supported, so I'm looking to replace it with a newer Orbi 770.  However,  I have a number of  IoT devices connected to my current system including a Wemo device that Belkin no longer supports, so that it cannot be reset and connected to a different network.

Q: If I rename my new Orbi to match the old network name and give it the same login, will all of my IoT devices reconnect?

Thanks!

-- Lou

Yes you can use prior SSID name and password for your new system. I've been using same SSID on mine for 20 years. Zero issues.

Also if your Orbi AC3000 series is working for you, you could keep it working if you wanted too. Can look into Voxels 3rd party FW for those models. Pretty good stuff and they update the important stuff.

    Good Luck.
