How to set up Orbi 870 (873) as an access point?
Hello,
I see in the instructions on how to set it up as normal (with the app) and I also found a page where it explains how to configue the router as an access point.
What I would like to know, what comes first? First connect the router (power off the ISP modem like in the normal set up?). Then log in and under advanced, change to access point? And then follow the app?
If it is brand new, in what order do you set it up?

Yes, if it's working then keep it. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Thanks, I know how to configue AP, just wanted to make sure I did everything in the right order in case of a new mesh setup. I know ORBI can be sensitive to that.
Don't know why you send me the reset link, I hope I will not be needing that. I am moving from the RBR53 to the RBR873 because I can longer reset my satellite.... 😁
