I have the latest firmware update, but my Orbi RB971 (w/2 satellites) keeps disconnecting

I know this is an older thread, but I too am having the same issues.  I have the latest firmware update, but my Orbi RB971 (w/2 satellites) keeps disconnecting.  We are having trouble making calls as well.  I have to reboot the system every time this happens, sometimes twice a day.  It is SO VERY FRUSTRATING after spending a large sum of money on a system that I thought was one of the best.  There are no further firmware updates and I am on terminal hold with Netgear for support.  I'm so disappointed!!!!!

  • Does front LEDs on RBS turn PINK when this happens? 

    Are RBS ethernet or wirelessly connected to the RBR? 

     

    What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? 
    Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. 

     

    What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? 
    What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

    Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF? 
    Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices? 
    What channel configurations are currently set on the router?  

     

    Try disabling the following and see:
    Armor, IPv6, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.

     

    Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?
