Interruption every hour
Recently, I have repeated interruptions on my WiFi devices. For example, I've noticed it on the Playstation Portal (streaming device via Wi-Fi), where I briefly lose the connection for about 30-60 seconds every hour.
It really is exactly every hour and I also noticed that if I reboot my modem (ISP Sunrise - Switzerland), for example, the next interruption is exactly one hour later and then every hour again. This of course prompted me to look for the problem more on the ISP / modem side. I was in contact with them and various things were investigated, but they couldn't solve the problem and told me to check the WAN IP release settings on the ORBI.
I also noticed that I have no interruptions when using a wired connection (Macbook with Ethernet conneciont to the network). However, when I am connecting the same device (Macbook) via Wi-Fi and ping the Internet, there is also an interruption every hour. So the problem could still be on the ORBI, or at least the interaction between ORBI and modem / ISP.
The details:
- 3x Orbi 770
- Wired connection between router & satellite (problem exists regardless of whether I am connected to router or satellite)
- ORBI in AP mode
- Latest Firmware (V10.5.13.1_2.2.34)
Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

If the Orbi is in AP mode, then it gets all it's services from the ISP side. If something fails there then would be coming from the ISP side.
Does the front LED on the RBR or RBS turn PINK or WHITE when this happens?
How is the RBR configured for AP mode? Dynamic or static IP address configuration?
How is the RBR connected to the ISP Router? Yellow WAN port right?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router? How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Sorry for the late reply. I tried to solve the problem over the weekend.
I switched from AP mode to router mode and the problem still exists. Then I also gave the router a fixed IP and the Satellites one via reservation.
Unfortunately, none of this solved my problem.I have also already replaced the cable and I still have hourly interruptions. I will also create a case. If you want to tell me your case number, then I can refer to your case.

- piddyyAspirantI‘ve exactly the same issue and opened a case with Netgear. I recommend you to do the same.
Any progress on this?
There is new FW available:

I am in active contact with support and have also received a different firmware (probably a beta firmware). Unfortunately, this has not yet solved the problem.
Ok, keep on it with NG support.
Thanks for the update.
