Thanks Furrye38. I haven’t tried this yet. My question is then do all the other devices like my laptop and iPad need to connect to the IoT network in order to print?

No. There is open traffic between the IoT and main WLAN and LAN networks. Is intended this way so IoT supporting apps used on mobile devices connected on the main WLAN or LAN can communicate with there devices on the IoT network.
Also some older devices that don't support WPA3 security mode may not handle this being seen on the signal. Been a known issue for a while now. So using the IoT network you have the option to set only WPA2. If your printers support ethernet connections, ethernet would be recommended.
