The hostname correctly resolves to my WAN IP, and I tested multiple forwarded ports with the same result.
Sounds like that should work. I am wondering you've tried:
- disabling ipv6 in the client PC
- testing with a port that isn't forwarded
That might give some clues.
Is there a particular service you need to get to work? FTP with passive ports comes to mind. But if that is the issue, you could potentially work around it by switching the to FileZilla client.
