New Orbi 970 Setup Satellites
Just setting upi my new Orbi 970 with two Satellites but I noticed they are connected to the router by 2.4GHz is this correct, thank you
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

What channel configurations are currently set on the router?

Can manually update the RBS first, then RBR lastly using this guilde: Procedure to Manually Firmware Update Orbi and Nighthawk Mesh systems. | NETGEAR Communities
"NTGRBH_941xxxxxxxxx" is just the wireless backhaul ssid name. Just ignore this. It's locked and can't be accessed. Only used by the RBR and RBS.
Generally, give the system about 10 minutes to settle in and come to ready. The system is working with itself to get the RBS connected and everything working well. In the end you should see 5Ghz + 6Ghz status for both RBS.
