Orbi 971 – Satellites Stuck Flashing White / No Network Access Post-Reboot

Hello Netgear Team and Community,

I’m experiencing an issue with my Orbi 971 Mesh system. After rebooting the router and satellites, both satellites become stuck with a flashing white LED and do not cycle through the expected blue/violet status lights.

The Orbi app indicates the satellites are connected, but they have no actual network access. Firmware appears to be up to date. I’ve attempted power cycling, manual sync, and confirmed backhaul settings, but the issue persists.

Is this behavior indicative of a firmware issue, a sync failure, or potentially a hardware/radio malfunction?

I’ve had great results with this system previously, but I need to ensure long-term reliability and performance. Any suggestions or confirmed fixes would be appreciated.

Best regards,
Doug G.

Have you tried powering them OFF first, Then go in to the RBS web page under Connected devices, Selecting Disconnect there for both, then power them ON one at a time and use the Add Satellite feature on the RBR and re-sync them one at a time to the RBR?

What FW version is loaded on the system?
