ORBI RBRE 970 UN IDENTIFY NETWORK
I Purchased second hands orbi 970 Router , i replaced my old orbi 960 and connect with my laptop wired .but very strange its error shows in network NO INTERNET and also when i check network status its show Identify /unidentify network
several times i DONE factory reset. un plug and connect also left unplug few hours and connect but cant find any internet. in ipconfig/all There is no ip address either . neither wifi orbi ssd show ? lights on orbi after factory reset Goes to white blinks , solid and goes off but still no internet nothing ? please advise any help appreciate
Temporarily disconnect the PCs ethernet connection and connect it to the back of the RBR while it's ON. Don't have the RBR connected to the modem. Factory reset the RBR by pressing the Reset button for 15 secons then release. Wait 2 minutes, then open up a web page to see if there is a setup wizard waiting for you at 192.168.1.1.
There should be a paged displayed that shows set up using Nighthawk app.
Also have a phone or pad ready and with in the wifi settings of one of these devices, have it on the connect to wifi option so it lists near by SSID names. Look at the bottom of the RBR to see what the default SSID name is and after the reset is process, this SSID name should be displayed on the phone or pad. If you don't see this name or you don't see the initial setup web page, then the RBR maybe faulty. There is one last item to try if the above fails.

Does other devices exhibit the same issue or do they connect to the RBR?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Unplug the ISP Modem/ONT for 1 minute then back ON?
I am using VIRGIN MEDIA SUPER HUB 5 same hub i used with ORBI 960. IGB speed currently the top fibre broadband in uk and yes CAT6 wire came with this and connected
ORBI 970 is not connected with internet so i dont know what fm is install
Can you access the RBRs web page at 192.168.1.1 with a ethernet connected PC after you factory reset the RBR?

Don't connect it to the ISP modem for this. You don't need internet access to get to the RBRs web page.
Try a different PC and devices connected to the RBR to see if they get an IP address from the RBR.
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Finally my orbi 970 back in life . i contact netgear support first they refused me to solved my issue because it is 2nd hand unit , but i told and they see my ORBI Family account i used orbi from 750 to 970. all supervisor intervein and after long argument they come to help me out ,actually its bed software firmware they upload fm but tbh 2 or 3 download upload its very complicated sp for me but they spend 2 hours and finally done , also after all setup they again done factory setting this time its work as i do before with other orbi too .
