What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. How do you have IPv6 configured on the RBR?
Who is the ISP service your connecting with?
Be sure the ISP is supporting native IPv6 from there services.
Be sure to contact the ISP to check for any IPv6 specific configurations that maybe needed on the RBR>
- Modem: Arris SB8200
Provider: Xfinity
RBE970 firmware: v9.11.0.1
Ethernet: Cat6 verified (not fake CCA Ethernet)
IPv6 is supported (works fine with my RBR750 Orbi system)
IPv6 settings: DHCP and the LAN is set to Auto ConfigOK, There seems to be already a known issue with IPv6 and Orbi 970 series. Something that NG is aware of. No idea when a fix will be forth coming. You might want to contact NG support and let them know as well of what your seeing.
