Orbi systems are designed to check the router to satellite connection using an internal timer and automatically switch to the best connection. This is why it takes a few minutes for the satellite to recognize that a 'wired' connection exists and switch to it.
Is it correct to assume that when the satellite is powered up when not 'wired' that it reports a Good 5G connection to the router on the Attached Devices web page?
The current firmware for the 760 system is v6.3.8.5. Is this the version running on the router and satellites?
One would imagine that this situation does not happen frequently, correct?
