Please describe "how this happens" (what causes the satellite to lose the 'wired' connection). For example, is there an electrical outage which causes every device in the house to lose power?
To troubleshoot a problem, one has to be be able to replicate the problem. For example:
- After the connection has been restored by rebooting the satellite, does removing the Ethernet connection cause the satellite to switch to WiFi backhaul (takes a few minutes)?
- If the satellite is temporarily relocated to the same room as the router, does connecting it to the router with Ethernet, removing the Ethernet cable, reconnecting the cable cause the satellite to switch properly between 'wired' and WiFi?
