Sonos and Printer and Orbi 870 mesh
My problems with the Orbi 870 mesh system continue. My router and one satellite are currently working. However I have recently been experiencing issues with my connection to Sonos arc and Move2 and to my HP printer. Everything appears on my Orbi app and on the Orbi website, but they sometimes connect to the app on my iPhone 17, and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the Sonos app connects to the speaker and turns on, but then will not connect to turn off. I tried to print a photo from my phone, but the printer could not be found. After I emailed the photo to my laptop, I was able to print it from there.
I have the newest firmware on the router. I have rebooted the router and rebooted the sonos and the printer. What else can I try? As I remember, everything worked before I "upgraded" to the 870 mesh from my previous Orbi mesh.

What channels are you using?
Are all these devices on the Main WLAN or some on the IoT network?
What iOS version is your phone using? 26.3.1 recent released.
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Printing from an iPhone can be done several ways. Are you using AirPrint or the HP printer driver?
Did the iPhone ever print on this HP printer?

Yes. Before I got this orbi 870, I had no problems printing from iPhone to HP printer. Today it finds the printer.

What model# is this printer?
Something I do with my 870 series, configure a smaller default DHCP IP address pool size. Gives me room for additing static IP addressed devices outside of this pool range. Something I do for my two printers that when I use my 870 series, works find. Though my printers are only ethernet based. No Wifi printers. Also have NAS and controlers that are set for static IP addresses on these devices as well.

What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

It looks like the common denominator here is the iPhone, but it would be good to confirm.
Can you reliably control the Sonos Arc using the PC?
Do you use access control on the 870?

You might also go in and set address reservations for those specific devices.

Guys:
Today my orbi app and the orbi website show 19 devices on my network. The other 10-12 that I have do not show as connected under either the router or the satellite, but they do show as "unconnected" devices. In reality, the devices (laptop, iPhones, nest thermostats, etc) are connected to something and can access the internet. This is a new issue. I have rebooted everything several times, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Turned devices off and on. All software is up-to-date. No luck with anything.
I do appreciate all the info about channels, and MAC addresses, and address reservations, etc., but although I went to school as an engineer, I was a structural engineer. I don't claim to know a lot about the internet and how to connect, but I am fairly technically minded. I have to say that installing this Orbi 870 has been the absolute worst experience that I have yet encountered with any network. I was hoping for a plug-and-play solution as advertised, but haven't experienced anything close to it. Netgear support is really good at telling me that "they are researching the problems and will get back to me ASAP," but that's all they are good for. They never return emails or calls.
I put in a claim today with my credit card company in hopes of getting a refund for this Orbi 870 network. It is a total waste of my time to continue to play with it. It just does not work. If I can't get a refund, I'll probably end up just throwing the whole thing in the trash and getting another brand. If I sound frustrated, I am.
