Hi all,
1. The model is RAX80
2. Current set-up was working fine for 2.5 years, Wifi 5ghz seems to be online in the admin portal but even though i can connect to it the connection is dropped within 30mins of connecting. Previously it was either not visible at all or when visible devices could not connect. I've performed one more hard reset today which allows devices to connect but as i mentioned connection is lost after approx. 30 mins
Here is the 5ghz set up:
The router is connected via cable straight to the internet outlet.
Wifi LED is enabled and 2.4ghz network works without any issues. Smart connect is disabled

and after you change it to up to 2400mbps, make sure to select a non-dfs channel for your region.

Hey, changed it to 2400mbps, selected channel 44 is non-dfs channel. Will report back see if it helps!

changing to speed to be set to 2400mbps did help, what could be the reason behind it anything i can do to change it back to 4800? Previous setting was working fine for 2.5 years đ

Since you changed to a non DFS channel, try raising the speed back to 4800Mbps to see if the problem appears or continues to work for you.

You still haven't described what the "wall plug" is that is supplying you with internet connection.
Also, if its working fine on non-dfs channels and you're concerned it worked fine for years, it could be a new broadcaster in your area
