AX1800 Router and AP (Satellite)

Question

Looking at the Nighthawk AX1800 Mesh WiFi.

The picture of the back of the AX1800 has Ethernet and Internet (yellow). When this is used as a AP (satellite) can it be wired and the mesh still works? The APs that we are replacing (3) are all wired. The building wall material mandates all APs be wired.

the netgear orbi and the netgear MK series both support wired backhaul.&nbsp;
