AX3000 Model RAX40 will not connect to internet
I just purchased an AX3000 Model Rax40 to replace an older working router. When I try to set it up in Nighthawk, I get an error when it checks for an internet connection. I confirmed that the Internet is DHCP.
I have removed all connections to the router, power cycled, and then power cycled the AX3000 with the same error no internet connection. I don't know how to check the firmware level. Nighthawk is v 2.33.0.3504
I put the old router back in service and have a good connection.
Suggestions please.
Thanks.
Bill

What modem/gateway are you connecting it to?
What's the old router?
The router is attached to a Spectrum Cable Company cable modem. The existing router is a Netgear AC1750
Neither of those are models.
spectrum has a ton of different modem and modem/router combo devices.
and AC1750 is a speed, not a model.
Not trying to be sarcastic but when helping on a forum, specifics are key since we aren't there to see what you're doing or have.
