Client VPN is not workable?

Either restart or reinstall your VPN client. Use a faster VPN protocol, and a different network port. Check if the VPN server is up and running. Restart, reinstall, or update your web browser if you're using a VPN extension.

If using the VPN server, make sure that you know your WAN IP (dynamic WAN IPs will occasionally change), or use a dynamic DNS service such as no-ip.

If you need to access both your local network and internet through the VPN server, then change the mode from "Auto" to "All sites on the Internet & Home Network"

On mobile devices, the OpenVPN connect app is able to automatically configure everything for you when you import the profile, but on windows, additional steps are needed to properly route the VPN traffic to the VPN server.

For example, on windows, the adapter that the OpenVPN client installs, needs to be renamed to NETGEAR-VPN (case sensitive).
