What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. Are you using the yellow WAN port or the Multi-Gig port for the connection between the router and your modem/ONT?
What all do you have connected to the router?
How many devices are connected at one time?
Does any of the top LEDS turn AMBER when this happens?
Does the top of the router feel extra warm or hot when this happens?
Might try a Factory reset and setup from scratch as well if this continues.

https://kb.netgear.com/24233/How-do-I-erase-the-configuration-settings-on-my-Nighthawk-routerTry setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Try enabling IPv6 (auto) and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
I've had my RAX120v2 online for past week. Have not seen any any freezing or hangs since putting it online. I did factory reset mine after applying the v.52 version of FW and setup from scratch.

-Confess my unit was bricked during a previous fw update due to power shortage but I manage to get it running with instructions on YouTube. No issues after that until this fw. No issues to perform update latest fw during but after this fw update problems occurred. I have reinstalled the latest fw again without improvement.

There is a Fan check feature in the debug page, please check this and enable the internal fan.
Might try a Factory reset and setup from scratch as well if this continues.
- Will tryPlease let us know the results. Just reset and setup from scratch and don't use the EAX80 for now.
Enable the internal fan as well and please keep track of the CPU and memory usage.
Can you reduce the amount of devices connected if possible with leaving only most important and critical devices connected to see if the CPU load goes up after watching and tracking it?
