Frequent disconnects with nighthawk ax6 5400

Question

I previously had a netgear router that worked well until I updated the firmware. I replaced the router with a new ax5400 and the internet connection will drop randomly. It seems to happen most with our phones and less with other devices. I've tried smart connect both on a d off and checked the firmware is up to date. Can I get some advice? I'm not a network expert so hopefully this is an easy fix.

1. what modem/gateway is it connected to?&nbsp;
2. what router is it? Those are speeds/references, not model numbers.&nbsp;
3. what firmware are you on? "The latest" isn't always the latest or has other issues.&nbsp;
4. Wired devices don't drop? Just wireless?

We have fios but I can't find a model #, possibly it's on the back but it's wall mounted so I don't want to mess with it.

Netgear model rax50v2
Firmware 1.1.4.28

All my other wireless devices are OK except for 2 android phones.

I don't see that options but if it's the armor protect, I already turned it off.Just had a long chat with netgear support. Their solution is to turn the cellular data off on the phones to force it to stay on wifi. I'll give this a try but seems like an annoying work around
