HomeKit Setup warning
HomeKit Setup Warning
Since purchasing my Netgear RAX70 AXE x8 Router, each time I open my iPad I get a HomeKit Setup Warning to logon iCloud. How do I disable whatever it is on the router triggering that warning? I don't know what homekit is nor do I care! I don't use iCloud. I do not want to use iCloud or any other cloud service for that matter.
Please advise!
Thanks,
TPecka

Thats a Apple feature thats built into there OS and products. Something to contact them about.

I disagree. Something in the router is triggering the unconfigured software in the iPad. the only change I made is the adding the RAX70. If I go to my girlfriend's house the warning does not popup.
The router is reaching out to the iPad.
Further and just like your link the 'home' app is removed from my iPad since it first became annoying years ago.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? There any Access Controls, Armor or SPC enabled on the router?
