I can not find a way to turn WPS off on the RAX80

Was just going though the settings and one thing that should be able to turn off is the WPS feature.

Am I over looking this?

  • There is support for the RAX80, including a manual, at the end of this link:

    >>> RAX80 | Product | Support | NETGEAR<<<

    See the section Specify WPS Settings.

    If you want to disable the button, you may be out of luck.

    Any reason why you want to do this? Maybe there are other ways of achieving the required outcome.

      Should be able to turn this off like most routers.

      It can or is seen as a security risk.

        Guide

        I think this is what you are looking for:

        Go to:

        Advanced Setings

        Advanced Set Up

        Wireless Settings

        Under WPS settings, uncheck "Enable Router's PIN"

        According to the help center:

        Enable Router's PIN

        You can configure the router's wireless settings or add a wireless client through WPS using the router's PIN only when the PIN is enabled.
