I need a step by step guide to configure this AX1800 WiFi 6 Router
My old netgear router is on its last legs, so I've purchased an AX1800 WiFi 6 Router to replace it... It will only be used in Wired (Ethernet cable) mode.
Unfortunately I cannot configure it as it asks for a username and password that has obviously not be set up yet, neither can I change the password that has not been configured yet. (It also asks for two bits of information not yet set).
Where was I born and where was my mother born.
I do not have a smartphone so the general suggestion of downloading a phone app would not work.
I need to manually enter my ISP data, but obviously without being able to access the Router Setup not possible.
What do I do now?
Thanks

To answer the email I received. "Did it solve your problem?"
Unfortunately not with a Netgear product, which is quite sad as my last two Modem Routers were Netgear.
I took the advice from a friend and am using another product.

I see no way here to re-edit a post?
The name on my last post should be Arturox. :-)

What actual router did you buy? AX1800 is a speed.
I'd start by factory resetting it. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
That'll get you to the defaults login/password.
Default login: admin
default password: password
when you first login with those, it'll ask you to change the password and setup the password recover feature.
You can find guides at netgear.com/support/
type in the actual model number and it'll take you to guides, manuals, firmware. etc.

It appears to be RAX20
However there's a bigger problem.
I eventually got in to the configurations, but it eventually went nowhere because the error states...
"No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet Port
Make sure that the cable is securely plugged into both the broadband modem port and the router Internet port.
After you have checked the Ethernet cable, click Try again."
That continues to fail.
There most positively is a network cable plugged in as it's the same one I'm now using with the old Netgear Router to do this.
It comes directly from the phone system to this old router via a DSL filter.
Is that message telling me, this Router does not contain a modem?
I hope not otherwise I'm wasting my time, all previous Netgear Routers I've used including this old one were complete kits, plug in and go. (Otherwise it's just a network switch).
Thanks

The C series have an integrated modem. the r series are router only device.
Who's your isp?
do you have a modem/gateway? (if so, which on)
