My new RAX40 keeps dropping its connection
Has anyone else had an issue with the RAX40 just randomly stop working? At least once a week the router just stops responding to the point where I cant get into the admin side. I have to power cycle the unit. My firmware is up to date. (Firmware Version V1.0.3.80_1.0.1). I am connected to a brand new Xfinity Modem / router. Router is in bridge mode. I have done a factory reset. Nothing has helped.

Which firmware is it? The firmware changes, or if someone else is looking at this in the future, or even if support is monitoring this. Its why we ask.
what modem is it connected to?
have you tried a simple factory reset and reinstall?

I just updated my original post. Thank you.
- Do you mean the router is in access point mode? or bridge mode? They're 2 different modes

My RAX40 also keeps dropping WiFi connection once or twice in a week. I'm on Firmware Version V1.0.3.80_1.0.1, I have to reboot router to solve the problem. The reboot takes 7-8 minutes. Factory reset doesn't did anything.

There is another thread about RAX40 issues with firmware version V1.0.3.80. You may want to try the Netgear download page for your model to see if there is a newer firmware available.
