My router won't recognize my new 2Gig Wifi Speed
I have an Rax70 Nighthawk router. I just increased my internet from 1 gig to 2 gigs. I attempted to change the speed I got an error message. Unable to establish Wan aggregation. ( See Below). I have all Cat 6 cabling, OS - Windows, All firmware up to date.
Any suggestions on what other setting might need to be changed?
Thanks,

What modem are you connecting to it?

p.s. I just now realized that the User Manual appears to give conflicting instructions. "use port 1" vs. "use port 4". puzzling.

The RAX70 Product Data Sheet appears to suggest that it supports port aggregation on both the WAN and LAN ports:
From the User Manual:
From page 30:
It would help to know the model number of the modem to see how the WAN port and LAN port 4 should be connected to support port aggregation.

This model router and most all RAX series routers sans RAX 120 and 200, will not support any ISP speed past 1Gb. The WAN/LAN ports is maxed at 1Gb so most you'll ever see on the wire is around 900Mpbs. Wireless anywhere from 300 to maybe 700Mpbs max on 5Ghz AX.
If you need to see speeds past 1Gb, RAX120,200, RAXE500 or NGs new wireless7 RS series all have 2.5Gb or higher speed WAN/LAN ports.
