New router netgear nighthawk rax50
Setup new router from my PC, keep asking for Netgear user/pw. I entered my Netgear userid/pw then error popup "Something is wrong. Try again". Keep trying still same error. Then it said continue to setup and login later. I did the setup, up and running. Then later I tried to login to my router, It WON'T let me. KEEP asking for Netgear user/pw, same problem "Something is wrong. Try again". So, I cleared all catches, cookies, reset router , reboot my PC and waited. Then re-tried, still same problem. What in the world was that? I was really frustrated. Then I called support multiple times, agents kept telling me doing the same things that I did. Clear browser's history, reset router, re-try, still nothing happens. why setting up my router has anything to do with my netgear account? No agent could answer that and no agent could help look into my netgear account to see what was wrong.

Try setting up the router manually with it disconnected from the ISP modem/ONT:

What FW is loaded on the router?
NG knows about this. Not sure when it will be fixed.

Yes, I finally did. However, after rebooting my PC, problem appears again, can't log into the router. Internet is fine, just can't log on to the router.
And yes, it happened after I updated to latest firmware. Even after reset router, the new firmware is still there.
So now, If I want to keep this router, I have to re-setup every time I want to login to the router, as there seems to be no solution and support is non-existence.
Did you factory reset then setup from scratch while off line then setup and complete the setup, then connect the router to the ISP service?
What FW version do you have loaded?
Do you have a v1 or v2 model router? I have a v2 and have been able to get access aftre the first time I reset line and got back in after I reconnected it to the ISP service.
How long have you had the router?
