Nighthawk AX2400 wi-fi password incorrect

Question

I have had this router for 3 years and all of a sudden the password for my 2.4ghz is incorrect. I can log into the 5G but not the 2.4, and several devices rely on the 2.4. I logged into the app and verified the password is correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try logging in through the browser. Change it to something else and then change it back.&nbsp;

You log into the browser using its ip address.&nbsp;
Smart connect combines the ssids for 2.4ghz/5ghz into a single ssid. In that mode, they don't show up as separate but the same network. It allows devices to bandsteer between the 2 bands as needed.&nbsp;

Okay, I assume I can get the IP address from the Nighthawk app? And no, I do not have smart connection enabled, I have several devices that cannot connect to 5G and require a separate 2.4 connection.

Not sure that I follow all of this discussion. If you want to get into the router to change wifi settings, most are outside the app's control. Use a web browser and the graphical user interface (GUI).

You can find the IP address in the app: check the Details button. Most Netgear routers sit on 192.168.1.1.
