NightHawk fw upgraded to v1.0.3.80_1.0.1, 802.11n device connects OK but shows No Internet
RAX35 Nighthawk underwent firmware upgrade successfully to v1.0.3.80_1.0.1, afterward I enabled the new Smart Connect option, all Win10 wireless devices restored connectivity OK and were distributed across both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wi-fi bands, except one (1) single device using 802.11n WLAN network card that shows connected but is displaying 'No Internet, Secured' status... Network troubleshooting resulted in error in IP configuration, investigation revealed IP configs for this WLAN interface shows a DHCP-IP of 169.254.110.249, subnet mask 255.255.0.0, no default gateway values...
Proper DHCP-IP values should be in the range 192.168.1.x with default gateway 192.168.1.1 and submet mask 255.255.255.0
Also, SSID is listed as 'unidentified network' instead of proper network name
All indications point to RAX35 not assigning a DHCP-IP to this single 802.11n WLAN device for unknown reason(s)... Any insights into how to resolve this is greatly appreciated.

Did you try forgetting the network and then reconnecting with that device?

Oh yah... several times to all wireless profiles and start with clean sheet... same results... logs show "[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC address 00:26:82:65:65:1f, Fri,Jun 19,2020 14:05:07", so am thinking latest firmware probably updated minimum encryption key strength or algorithm... WLAN driver from Microsoft is dated 2015 and vendor name is an obscure Ralink not heard for a long time... might have to roll back firmware, but now trying to deselect AX feature to see if it'll make a difference.
