Nighthawk RAXE500 2.4ghz band speed

Question

Is it normal to only get about 150Mb/s on the 2.4ghz band? For comparison I get like 800MB/s on the 5ghz band. Quite a difference! Not sure why/how there would be such a huge gap.

Yep. Also depends on wireless device design and support as well. Most can top out at 300Mpbs depending. Nature of the beast.
