No wifi range wifi 6
I have wifi but it is not stable. I have NO access to the modem because our company went to fiber and locked the modem in a box {no customer has access to the modems now as they say it is proprietary to them}. Half the time I get notice on my laptop there is no net on websites. Can not multitask at all without issues. Everything is up to date yet if I am more than 30 ft away from the router I have no wifi at all. This is not even a year old router. My gaming laptop is worthless like this. All firmware is up to date so I need help to see if this can be fixed or am I just out the money for the router.
Finally I can reply to let yall know where I am. Got the tech to come here, tested everything, all was fine, I upped my net speeds, still no help at all. Last thing at this point is assume maybe my MSI is too old {3} and see about getting it replaced soon. Thank you guys for the help. Sorry I don't have better news.

So need more details here.
What NG router model are you referring too?
Fiber ISPs use ONTs, not modems.
Who is your ISP?
30 feet is kinda far for good signal connection and operation for a connected device. Especially if building materials are in between the router and your wifi device.

It says AX3600. There is nothing in the way. It is down a clear hallway in direct line. The laptop acts up with the "no internet connection" even 6 ft away from the router

What says that? A label on the thing?
It isn't the model number, That could be something like RAX41 or MR80.
