Only 1 device not connecting to R6700AX Nighthawk wifi router

ALL other devices (+20) in my home are connecting to my R6700AX and the 1 device (PC) that will not can see all other wifi networks in area including another wifi hub I have. Have tried to manually access but does not show. Any ideas on what is blocking it from showing on this one device?  Something I need to enable on the router? Something I need to disable on the PC?

  • We will need the model of the WiFi adapter of the PC that is having trouble connecting.
Beyond that, also check which channels the devices that the computer can't see  are using. For example, if your smartphone can see all of the APs, then run an app like WiFi analyzer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.farproc.wifi.analyzer

and then see if they have any channels in common. Often when a single device can't find an AP, it is typically due to something like it being an older WiFi radio that never went through the approval process to use DFS channels, thus APs using those channels, end up not being visible.

I assume that that description has a bit missing in the middle.

"the 1 device (PC) that will not connect to the wifi from the R6700AX can see all other wifi networks"

This does point the finger at the "1 device (PC) that will not".

But what are these other wifi networks?

Windows PC? Does the network troubleshooter offer any clues?
