    Hi SSGGBLUE,

You may need to try changing the WiFi channels on the bands. You may also try disabling smart connect and/or AX WiFi to see if there are any improvements.

I’ve been having the same problem with the same router. I’ve tried resetting it, disabling ax, removing or adjusting QoS rules, changing channels and it will still throttle after some time. I have to disconnect and reconnect my pc to WiFi and it will work fine again. Strangely, hard wired won’t do it, only on WiFi. Hoping this gets fixed with new firmware
  • I can't get past 250Mbps on Comcast with my CM1000 and 1G service.  My previous service was 200Mbps but I just changed to the faster speed two days ago and my speed has not changed.  Did you have to change any settings to get 950Mbps+??

ByrdTECH2, I had a similar issue after upgrading the speed on my Xfinity service. The root cause of the problem was that the modem’s boot (configuration) file had not been automatically updated by Xfinity.

The problem can likely be resolved (a) by contacting Xfinity technical support, and requesting them to remotely push the correct boot file to your modem; or, (b) by performing a factory reset of the modem and activating it again with Xfinity.
