RAX 80 fails to upgrade at GUI Language update step

RAX80 at firmware version 1.0.4.120_2.1.46.1.  Detects upgrade available to 1.0.5.126_2.1.46.1.  Contacts Netgear server and stuck on the page labeled "GUI Language update" with message "Downloading and updating the language table, please wait for approximately one minute…"

 

It never finishes.  This is with Edge web browser

    I have the same problem.  Using Firefox 90.0.2.  Stalls at language update page; never updates to latest frmware.

      FYI I was able to perform a manual update by downloading the latest firmware and updating manually using that file.

        I updated the firmware with the app.  After that, language was the old one.

        Now I tried installing the downloaded one.After that language file is the old one (V1.0.4.120)

    Still having this problem. Neither the app, manually or the web interface works.

      I updated end of november from V1.0.5.126_1.0.65 to  V1.0.5.132_1.0.69 and language version V1.0.5.132_2.1.46.1 from PC on the Router with firefox 94.0.2. Works fine !

    I installed the router firmware manually 1.0.5.132. As I also got stuck in the language table loop. After the router firmware update I noticed that the language tables are still on version 1.0.3. I solved it by switching language to English (router webpage, right corner), than it will automatically install the new language tables, that came with the firmware 1.0.5.132,  correctly and reboot.

    I had issues updating from 1.0.5.126 to 1.0.5.126_2.1.46.1 every which way using several different browsers even after a Router Reset.  I kept seeing the "this will take a minute..." message.  I finally used the mobile app on my Android phone and the update process.  My RAX75 is now UTD as of 3/12/2022.
