RAX120v2 Wifi signal keeps dropping
Hi, my wifi signal keeps dropping almost every day and requires constant rebooting. The problem is not with the modem.
Please help.
Thanks,
Phil

Just FYI, the Nighthawk app says I am updated with the latest firmware.
Provider: Spectrum
No wifi nearby
Devices: 5 computers, Eufy 2C security system -2 base stations, two iPhones, one printer, LG TV. Apple TV.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. What is the first 3 characters of the routers serial number?

I don't see a manufacturer name or model number. What I do see is this:
ES2251
DOCSIS 3.1 eMTA
Made in Philippines
SD10
There is also a CM MAC number and a MTA MAC number
Does that help?

That is not a reliable guide. The app seems to miss some updates, especially if you are several versions behind.
The only way to really check is to look at the firmware version ans to compare that with the versions available on the support pages for your device.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.
As to your modem, Google isn't definitive. Probably just a modem, but does it have extra LAN ports on the back? Does it do wifi?

Don't believe it. Visit the support pages and compare your version with the latest.

The make and model number could be useful. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
The reason for asking is that a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.Do the router's logs offer any clues?
