Just wanted to ask when looking for updates on the screen for updates and reboot, do you recommend rebooting once a month or only when it may not be operating normally??

  • When you encounter a problem, try a reboot first.

Routers are designed to be online all the time with out any reboots. if reboots are needed all the time, there maybe a problem that needs to be vetted that reboots are covering up.

Apart from firmware updates, when the router will reboot itself, the only time I reboot a router is when the mains power goes off and comes back on.

Other than that, leave it alone.

I'm the same. Leave it 24/7 unless the power dies or I have an issue with something.
