RAX40 v2 DHCP Option

Question

Hello,&nbsp;I just bought the NightHawk RAX40 v2 routeur in order to replace my provider one. To do that, i need the&nbsp;DHCP option 60 and 61. As precised by the following KB article&nbsp;https://kb.netgear.com/000062426/Which-NETGEAR-routers-support-DHCP-option-60-and-61, it should be supported, but it is not. I guess it is only for the RAX40 v1 (but it is not precised in the KB...)Is there any chance to add this feature for the RAX40 v2 ?&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;

The original RAX40 was an intel based device.&nbsp;
The RAX40v2 is a broadcom based (per fcc).&nbsp;
Whether that'll get the update is an unknown.&nbsp;
It is a bit sketchy that it doesn't list in the "supported devices" that its only V1 supported.&nbsp;

Something to contact NG support about and see though maybe something that could take a while, even if they might support it:

I guess it is not possible due to architectural evolutions, but does someone know if there is a way to apply the RAX40 v1 firmware to the RAX40 v2 ? (the expected extension file is not the same between the 2 versions...).

don't try it.&nbsp;
the v1 and V2 use different hardware and you'll end up bricking your device if it even lets you "force it"&nbsp;
