RAX45 log entry: [Internet disconnected]
Anyone know how to approach this issue? Perhaps router needs to be replaced? Internet disconnect happened last week and then again today. Router is running latest Firmware: V1.0.17.142_2....

When internet disconnect happens:
- RAX45 WAN/Internet LED is white (normal color, like it's connected to internet, but it's not)
- The ATT ONT model is: ARRIS BGW210-700
- Ethernet cable is in GOOD shape and connected properly.
- IPv6 is ENABLED on the ATT ONT. IPv6 is DISABLED on the RAX45.
- OpenDNS is being used (on the RAX45): 208.67.222.222 (primary) & 208.67.220.220 (secondary).
- Since last firmware update, factory reset / setup from scratch has NOT been performed.
Also, not sure if this matters but: the ATT ONT configures DHCP leases for 1 day & 0 hours/minutes/seconds. But on the RAX45 the "Connection Status" page shows a Lease Obtained as: 0 days, 0 hours, 10 Minutes.

The model ONT you have already has a built in router. And if DHCP leases are 1 day on ONT router, then this would be main issue for the RAX loosing internet access. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers

3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the NG router to the modem, LAN to LAN configure AP mode on the NG router.

Try option #2 first...
Ask ATT ISP about configuring the ONT for longer DCHP Lease times as well. If thats possible.
Also ask the ISP if the Arris gateway is a seperate router unit from the actual Fiber ONT unit. Maybe possible to avoid using the Arris unit and install the RAX as the main host router.
