RAX70 Cable can not be detected

Hello,

My router out of nowhere cannot detect the modem.

I even tried factory reseting the router and then it says that cable cannot be detected.

I am out of ideas how to fix this.

Please help!

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

David

  • What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

      Current firmware version is v1.0.15.146.

      Modem is Spectrum ET2251.

I now changed to CAT6 cable. I had some yellow garbage on it.

Yes, I turned off both modem and router for 2 minutes + and then back on, and nothing.

I factory reset and then I again redid the steps and nothing.

      Best regards,

      David

Can you connect a wired PC or laptop to the modem and see if the PC or laptop gets any internet?
