Readyshare no longer available - asking for credentials, but not supposed to
My router's Readyshare has suddenly stopped working. When I try to access it, it prompts for credentials which it should not be doing. I reset it to factory and it still isn't working.
Firmware Version V1.0.11.112_2.0.77
Windows 11 - version 24H2
I see that a Windows update installed on 12/16. Perhaps there is a conflict here?
Ideas or am I just SOL on using this ever again?
This is what solved it for me and the video where I got the information:
Enable insecure guest login policy
Start > Run > "gpedit.msc"
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > Lanman Workstation
Select: "Enable insecure guest logins"
Change to Enabled and Apply
close window and then try again.
This absolutely worked for me!

Seems to be working now from a pc wired into the network, but not working from a pc on a Wifi access.
For some reason, I can't edit my original post, so just wanted to add that I can see the files and even download if I pull it up through a web browser. But this doesn't allow me to add a new file, for example. It's when I try to use Windows File Explorer that I am prompted for credentials.

Glad you got it working and letting us know the fix. Seems like MS may have changed the log in process on an update. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
