recent update rax40

I did the update the router called for and now I need to reset the router atleast 5 times a day to get it working again. B4 the update it was fine. I am working from home right now so its kind of a big deal for it to work right. Is there a way to downgrade the firmware? Thanks

  • Before downgrading, I'd actually factory reset the router and reinstall it. The RAX devices have gotten quite a few changes with the firmware updates and have responded well to a full factory reset and reinstall. That might help with your issue before trying the downgrade process.

I'm thinking you maybe meant that you were rebooting the router. Not resetting.

You can do it through the gui menu or using the hardwired button.

        menu----navigate to advanced-----administration-----backup-----erase

hardwired-push and hold reset while powered on for 7-15 seconds.

  • What a pain in the ass..... won't they just fix this already with a new update?
