SSL Nucleus and Netgear Routers
Hello all,
So I have an old RA6700v3 router and just go Verizon FIOS. I ordered a new AX5400 router and could not get this thing to work on my MAC using the latest Sequior OS. When I plug in both my computer and the SSL Nucleus to the new router, I would loose some of the functions on my nuclues but if I unplug my Mac from the router then all works fine. Now my old trusted RA6700v3 all Nucleus functions and computer connected works just fine. My issue with the RA6700 router is that sometime my speed goes from around 800 to 150 for some strange reason and would like to replace it. Which of the netgear routers would you recommend for my setup with the SSL nucleus?

Something I don't think that any NG router supports that SSL feature and not something that you can install on a router.
Might ask NG support about it for more details. What is Sequior OS? Mac OS?

Bad spelling, it should be Sequoia which is the latest Mac OS...
routers don't care what OS you're using.
If you were having an issues, I'm betting it was a settings issue.
In terms of your speeds changing, are you using smart connect? That combines the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz (not even sure if that router supports smart connect). 2.4ghz is a much slower network and sensitive to interference. 5ghz is significantly faster. Wired will be faster still. (doubt the R6700 would hit 800mbps over wireless).

Not sure about smart connect, the 800 number is from the wired connection to my Mac Studio m2.
