Trying to use wifi6e on RAX 50

Now I have an iPhone 14 pro which should support this protocol. It seems as though I need WPA3 and I have a ton of older Ring, Chamberlain, Hue, computers and tablets that won't support WPA3. If I set to WPA3 will smart connect automatically back down the protocol OR do I need to set a separate SSID for the phone alone?

If you have other devices that don't support WPA3 then you'll need to keep with WPA2 and AES. I don't know if this model has a mixed WPA2 and WPA3 setting.

6E is a 6Ghz frequency which this model router doesn't support.

  • The RAX50 doesn't support 6E only 6.

Did you find security mode settings under Basic tab/Wireless settings?

Yes I see those settings but I do now want to lose all of my devices that cannot use that protocol. I have it set to enable AX though.
