Unable to sign into netgear account for router config
New AX5400. When I go to the IP address of the router and complete the admin credentials, I'm prompted to (unnecessarily, by the way) log into my Netgear account. Every time I attempt to, I get a message in a red background "Something went wrong. Try again." If I go directly to the Netgear site, my netgear account credentials work fine.
Netgear support gave me a workaround to unplug the internet cable from the router to bypass the account login. While this workaround works, it is not at all practical to disconnect the internet when I wish to access the router config. Is there a way to actually fix this? or remove the account sign-in requirement?
Ok seems to have been introduced with this version of FW. We've made NG aware of this. No idea if or when next FW will be forth coming with a fix. Only way I found to get around that was factory reset and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser:
