Wired connection to XR1000 slower than connection directly to modem
I have recently purchased xr1000(ax5400) and I cannot get the wired connection to the speeds that I see when connected directly to modem. I have a PC and an Xbox Series X that are connected directly through ethernet. Speeds when connected directly to modem are 800mbs+ but when connected to router I get around 500mbs-700mbs and on the xbox its even worse at around 300mbs-500mbs.
Things I have tried
-QoS disabled
-Traffic controller disabled
-Changed ethernet cables around various times (all cat5e)
-Tried some cat8 ethernet cables
-Enabled ipv6 (auto detected to pass through and tried on 4to6 as well)
-Disabled wifi on modem
-Tried every single firmware for the router
-Tried reseting router a few times
-Tried reseting settings
Theres probably more things that i forgot to include, I'm at my wits end. I really like the router the range reaches my whole apartment and the wifi is equal and at times faster than what I was getting from the modem but I just cannot get the wired connections to work at the speeds I am expecting.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thank you

You mentioned disabled WiFi on modem, is this connected to another router?
if so you and the modem as you put it is not in mipodem only/bridge mode it will create issues.
The XR1000nneeds to be the primary router so it handles all connections.
- FokashAspirantNo its not connected to another router, its connected to the modem.
