I want to be able to use the parental controls on my netgear router
I have the orbi mesh system since 2021. Now my kids are teens and I just got them laptops. I want to be able to use the parental controls on my netgear router, but my app does not have the tile. I'm in the US. What do I need to do to get the parental controls tile on my orbi app?

What model Orbi system do you have?
You can see the SPC tile in the Orbi app if the following conditions are met:
You are in a country where SPC is available https://kb.netgear.com/000063796/
Your NETGEAR single sign-on (SSO) account is registered to a country where SPC is available in your MyNETGEAR account profile settings
The NETGEAR SSO account that you use to log in to the Orbi app is the same account that your router is registered to
Your router isn’t in AP (access point) mode
If any of the preceding conditions aren’t met, the SPC tile doesn’t display and the Circle tile remains visible instead.Make contact with NG support for additional help and information.
Good Luck.

I struggled to get the parental control tile to show until I found the list of compatible routers here:
https://kb.netgear.com/000062109/How-do-I-set-up-and-install-NETGEAR-Smart-Parental-Controls
I was using a RBR350 which isn't on the list. When I upgraded to a RBR750 router (but keeping the old satellites which were compatible). the tile did appear. From your profile it looks as though you have the RBR860 which is also not on the list of compatible routers, which may be the problem.

My router says orbi router rbr850 on the bottom. Not sure why my account says otherwise. Maybe the inaccurate listing is my problem?
When I look at the page where it has all the routers that have parental controls, both rbr850 & rbr860 are listed.
- TrevmonkAspirantI was given the same advice as you by Netgear support which includes the clause:
"The NETGEAR SSO account that you use to log in to the Orbi app is the same account that your router is registered to"
If you have a different device registered to your account that may be the problem.
