Orbi -RBR 750 - Access controls no longer available

Hello,

 

I had setup Access controls a few months back to "not allow new devices to connect to the network".

 

Recently I enabled parental controls through the Orbi App. The Access controls page just displays a message stating that i need to access it via the Orbi App. The Orbi App does not have this option.

I have disabled the Parental controls feature, but no luck. Support has not been helpful thus far/

 

Any one else with the same issue? Any thoughts how how to recover the Access controls page on the Admin portal ?

    Where are you looking on the router? Maybe it has moved in new firmware. Here it is buried in Attached Devices:

    The Orbi App does not have this option.

    Again, is it buried in Device Manager in the app?

     

    I am using different hardware, but these things are usually common.

     

    If you are looking for a global setting , then the App doesn't appear to support that.

     


    Just another user with time on their hands.

      Hello Michael,

       

      Thank you for your response.

       

      The Access controls page was under the Security -> Access Controls (Advanced Tab). I've also looked on the Attached Devices page, but it does not exist there. 

       

      On the Orbi App, it is no were to be found. The Access Controls option was never there on the App.

       

      Support stated the only option they can thin of is doing a reset to factory settings, which i will probably end up doing this weekend. But I'm going to continue to look for anyone that may have resolved this in other ways.
