How to monitor a port through SNMP ?

Hi

I'm using a M4300-28G for some AV devices. I have a problem with one of the device connected on the switch. Unhappy the problem is difficult to narrow. We suspect the port is going down sometime from gig to 100M (probably due to bad cables or something like that).

Is there a way by SNMP to monitor speed of a port of the switch ? I could not find anything related at speed in SNMP mib table I have for that switch.

Or an other way to monitor if the port is changing of speed by itself ?

Thanks for help,

Vincèn

    Try to look into into the IF-MIB::ifSpeed table, example for port 1 or the WebUI:

    IF-MIB::ifSpeed.1 = Gauge32: ...

    .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.5.1 = Gauge32: ---
