Mise a jour antivirus readynas RN104
Bonsoir,
J'ai un Readynas RN104 en fonction depuis 10 ans.
Depuis quelques jours il semblerait que l'antivirus ne se mette plus a jour. J'ai un message d'erreur : "La mise à jour du fichier de définition du scanner antivirus a échoué en raison d'un problème de téléchargement. Vérifiez votre connexion Internet."
Le message d'erreur est envoyé par mail, je pense donc que la connexion Internet est OK.
Est ce la fin du support antivirus sur ce modèle ? Ou le problème peut venir d'ailleurs ?
Certains parmis vous ont ils constaté le même problème ? Merci a ce qui prendront le temps d'étudier ce problème. Bonne soirée

Is this the end of antivirus support for this model?
Yes. And for all other OS-6 NAS.
The version of ClamAV Netgear distributed was deprecated by ClamAV in Sept. 2024, and ClamAV began blocking definition updates for that version in Sept. 2025
All ReadyNAS platforms are end of life, and Netgear has informed me that they have no plans to update the ClamAV software built for ReadyNAS.

Can I continue to use my NAS or is there a real danger?
I use mine (and am planning to continue doing that).
If the files on your NAS are all coming from your PCs, phones, and tablets, then I think it is enough to make sure those other devices are protected. If files are downloaded directly (for instance a torrent app), then you should scan those files. You can set up a PC to do that (many AV packages support scanning a network share).
I wouldn't allow remote access to the NAS except through a VPN.
